The Black Eyed Peas and Chicago’s hottest nightclub joined ConduitChicago.com for a launch party that Chicago won’t soon forget.  Both the band and the club delivered an event that was beyond our wildest expectations!  After the B-96 show in Tinley Park, Wil I Am arrived first and promptly took over spinning duties to the delight of a capacity crowd.  It seemed like only moments had passed (and a few generous cocktails thanks to the wait and bar staff at enclave) when Fergie and the rest of the band arrived and launched impromptu VIP performance of several of their songs.  We were blown away and Chicago’s hottest night club was transformed into an intimate, standing room only venue to see the hottest summer tour.  Kanye West and many other notable home-town favs ventured into enclave and helped ConduitChicago.com launch as your connection to Chicago’s emerging arts and entertainment communities.

This Boston Massachusetts band Passion Pit gets rave reviews from The Cultural Xchange.  This electro pop collective is definite feel good music, but not over the top.  Their full length debut album “Manners” released June 9, 2009, with French Kiss Records. If you like one Passion Pit song off of “Manners”, you more than likely them all.  One of the tracks “Sleepyhead” grabs its hooks into you and gives you that elusive feeling of making you want to dance.  We will call it “Smile Good Music” here at CX.

Under the helm of 22 year old Michael Angelakos, Passion Pit is a solid and sexy five piece band.  Passion Pit consists of Michael Angelakos, Ian Hultquist, Ayad Al Adhamy, Jeff Apruzzese, Nate Donmoye.

Passion Pit is scheduled to be in the Chicago area @ Empty Bottle, June 14th, 2009, but unfortunately for most of the fans it is sold out.
